Dental Bridges
Read about Valerie's Case
Our patient had missing lateral incisors (the small ones next to the two front teeth) from childhood and had 2 dental bridges to replace them from over 30 years ago. She was unhappy with the "gummy" look to her smile. She also did not like how the teeth were uneven, lifeless and short looking. She did not want to do orthodontics or implants, so we agreed on fixing this restoratively. Dr. Aaron did a study of her bite and designed replacement porcelain bridges to accomplish her goals. All of this was done with CEREC technology in the office so that we could have full control of the outcome. Even the details of the surface texture and shading were accomplished in the office by Dr. Aaron! No need to visit a lab to get the shade right! She was super pumped to have gotten rid of the gummy smile and be able to smile confidently again, after so many years! Now she has a warm smile that truly displays her kind and gentle personality! Thanks for letting us help Valerie!!
Read about Jerry's Case
As a teenager, Jerry had retained baby canine teeth that never fell out due to his permanent canines being impacted – lodged in the bone, never erupting. As the baby canine teeth finally started to fail by decaying and getting loose, a plan had to be made. Jerry was self-conscious about the baby teeth as well as some of the other restorations he had done outside of the USA. He wanted to be confident about his smile, so he and Dr. Aaron comprehensively reviewed his oral health. Orthodontics and implants were discussed, but proved to be too difficult with the extensive surgery that would be involved to remove the impacted canines. Digital case planning was used to create a blueprint for the restorative needs to provide Jerry with the smile he desired. Two porcelain crowns were planned for the central incisors and two porcelain dental bridges were planned to replace the missing canines along with enamel reshaping of the lower front teeth to correct the bite. Dr. Aaron fabricated the crowns and bridges with CEREC in-office milling and characterized the new porcelain work for the most natural appearance. The result for the patient was amazing! Now, Jerry is smiling widely and ready to move on from his teenage years with a new grown-up smile!
